Why does the volume button not work?

The volume button only works during calls or when audio is playing.

Why can't I mute the headset via the mic boom or the mute button?

1. You can only mute or unmute during calls.
2. Your conferencing software takes priority. Check the mute button in your software first, followed by raising the mic boom. The mute button only works when your software is unmuted and the mic boom is lowered.
