Thank you for choosing AnkerWork. Here are some tips on how to get the most out of your Anker PowerConf C200 webcam:
Download the AnkerWork software and keep the firmware up to date:
You can download the AnkerWork software at software.ankerwork.com to customize settings according to your preference.
1. Set resolution, field of view, and zoom in and out in the Device section.
2. Customize image settings (brightness, sharpness, saturation, and contrast ratio) in the Image section to ensure a consistent image quality in different environments.
3. Reduce background noise and enhance vocals by selecting the microphone pickup angle in the Audio settings.
4. Get help by clicking the question mark located on the left-top corner.
5. Update the webcam's firmware.
We will release new firmware regularly to optimize the user experience. To get the best performance, you are strongly recommended to always keep the firmware of your PowerConf C200 up to date.
How to improve the image quality in a backlit environment:
You can try to customize the image settings, such as decreasing the brightness and contrast ratio, to improve the image quality when in a backlit environment. But the PowerConf C200 does not have an HDR feature, so we do not suggest using this in a backlit situation as it is likely to cause an overexposed image quality.
How to use the microphones' directional pick-up feature:
There are two directions for the microphones' vocal pick-up: directional (90°) and omni-directional (180°). Noises outside of these areas will be significantly suppressed. You can select the direction on the AnkerWork software.
To ensure that your voice is not eliminated or distorted by the noise-cancellation process when your webcam is set in Directional pick-up mode, please face the camera straight-on and avoid moving around, which can cause your voice to deviate from the 90° coverage.
