Why is There No Stream in AnkerWork Software or a Third-Party Video Software Even With the Webcam Connected?

If you notice there is no stream in AnkerWork software or a third-party video software even though the webcam is connected to your computer and selected as the default camera for a video software, you can check if the following steps can resolve the issue:

 

1. Make sure the Ankerwork software version you installed is the latest version. If not, we recommend you to uninstall and then reinstall the latest version.

2. When the issue occurs, try stopping the antivirus software or making sure that the camera is not disabled in the antivirus software.

3. Unplug and replug the webcam.

4. Due to the limitations of the USB (UVC) protocol, only one video stream is supported at a time when the webcam is working with Windows devices. Therefore, please ensure that only one software is using the webcam at a time. 

 

Steps to uninstall Ankerwork software for your reference: 

1. Select the desktop shortcut > right-click to open the file location > find uninst.exe to uninstall

2. Or find the unist.exe in the default storage path to uninstall (C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\AnkerWork)
